Other CCC Training and Resources

Individualized Training and Technical Assistance
Through ongoing support from the California Community College (CCC) Chancellor’s Office, the UCLA Tarjan Center is able to offer individualized consultation, technical assistance, and trainings at no cost within the California Community College system related to serving neurodivergent students. If your college has a question or is interested in organizing a training for your faculty, staff, or broader campus community, please contact Christine Moody, PhD, at cmoody@mednet.ucla.edu.
CCC ASD-IDD Community of Practice
TStarting in 2024, the UCLA Tarjan Center established a community of practice among the California Community Colleges related to serving autistic students and students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The CCC ASD-IDD Community of Practice meets every other month for 90 minutes, and offers and opportunity for college representatives to come together to discuss trends, problem-solve, and share ideas. We hope to draw upon the collective knowledge in the system to spread best practices. If you are affiliated with the CCC system and interested in joining the CCC ASD-IDD Community of Practice, please email Christine Moody, PhD, at cmoody@mednet.ucla.edu.
