College to Career Programs

College to Career (C2C) is comprised of programs of instruction designed to provide youth with intellectual disabilities (ID) and autism with higher education and vocational training.  C2Cs are located on the following eight California Community College campuses: College of Alameda, Sacramento City College, San Diego Community College District, Santa Rosa Jr. College, Shasta College, North Orange Continuing Education, Fresno City College and West Los Angeles College.

Students are enrolled for three years and receive supports to be successful with coursework, and to participate in activities on campus.  Each program provides a range of support services including:

  • Educational Coaching
  • Career Exploration
  • Case Management
  • Work Experiences
  • Internships

This project is funded by the Department of Rehabilitation in collaboration with the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office. Program evaluation is conducted the Tarjan Center at the University of California, Los Angeles.
