IDDRC Functional Visualization Core

The IDDRC Functional Visualization core permits researchers to obtain high quality imaging data using standard conventional and confocal microscopy as well as providing technical support for imaging, image processing and cell/tissue processing. The core is located on the second and third floor of the Neuroscience Research Building (NRB) and houses the following systems: Zeiss LSM 800 confocal microscope, Zeiss AxioImager Z1 fluorescent microscope with Apotome 2.0 and MBF Sterology software , EVOS FL Auto 2 image, Olympus IX81 spinning disc confocal microscope, Olympus AX70 upright and Zeiss Axiovert 135M inverted fluorescent microscopes, analysis computers with Imaris software, Leica CM1950 cryostat, and a Leica VT1200S vibratome.
