The Enrichment Center

The Enrichment Center is an arts-based day program which serves adults with developmental disabilities. The arts program is comprised of dance/drama, music, poetry, and visual arts. The center also provides education in computer skills and life skills and provides supported employment. Under the guidance of professional artists, participants earn income through the sale of visual art, recordings, published poetry, and tickets for performances. The artists display and sell their work in Gateway Gallery at the Enrichment Center and throughout the community. Performances integrate dancers and musicians with and without disabilities. The Enrichment Center Percussion Ensemble is the first of its kind-a professional ensemble comprised of musicians with developmental disabilities and one non-disabled musician.
