ArtsWORK is a day program and art studio providing instruction in the arts and life skills to adults with disabilities, in a setting where all persons are respected and valued. The staff of professional artists provides exposure to a variety of media including drawing, painting, creative movement, music, ceramics, fiber arts, and movie making. University students in a variety of disciplines participate in ArtsWORK as well. This board spectrum approach allows for a rich experience where each of the artists is able to explore his/her creativity within a safe, person-centered environment. Art projects are customized for the individual in order to achieve the greatest possible range of expression. Gallery openings and movie premieres are held annually in order to promote public interaction with the artists and their phenomenal finished works.
