Mona Abdul Samad

Mona is a 4th year UCLA student majoring in Psychobiology. As an international student fluent in four languages—French, Arabic, English, and Spanish—she brings a global perspective and a deep appreciation for diverse cultures. Passionate about working with children, she is on a pre-med track, aspiring to become a pediatrician. Through her involvement with the UNICEF club at UCLA, she has built meaningful connections with children, fostering their development and well-being. In the lab, Mona contributes to the RAINBOW study working on treatment for children with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) and the Nesting study. Outside the lab, she enjoys dancing, playing the piano, and playing tennis.
