Psychiatric News published a Jan. 18 article on a UCLA brain imaging study by Dr. Jamie Feusner, assistant professor of psychiatry at the Semel Institute, that pinpointed the first biological basis for body dysmorphic disorder, a mental illness in which normal-looking people see themselves as hideous or disfigured.
