Catherine Mogil
Dr. Mogil is the Director of Training and Intervention Development for FOCUS at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and the Co-Director of the Child and Family Trauma Psychiatry Service at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Mogil is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Mogil is also a consultant for the National Military Family Association Operation Purple Family Retreats. Dr. Mogil received her doctorate from Pepperdine University and completed a clinical internship in neurodevelopmental disabilities at UCLA. Dr. Mogil completed a post-doctoral fellowship specializing in the prevention and treatment of child and family traumatic stress at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She has received formal training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Right from the Start and Music Together.
