Los Angeles Unified School District Center for Advanced Transition Services Program
The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Center for Advanced Transition Services (CATS) Program provides transition services that help students develop academic, vocational, and independent living skills. The program serves students ages 19-22 with moderate to severe disabilities on the alternate curriculum. Opportunities are provided both on campus and in the community; students also participate in community college classes. It provides course offerings in such areas as:
Reading, Writing, Math
CATS offers classes at the following locations:
East Los Angeles College
Los Angeles Harbor Colleges
Los Angeles Trade-Technical College
Los Angeles Mission College
West Los Angeles College
No housing is offered through this program.
The High School Certificate of Completion is a two year course of study.
