During these discussions, residents and faculty are assigned on a rotating basis to bring in articles from the recent literature that address new clinical or scientific findings related to mood disorders, broadly defined. Emphasis is on both the content of articles presented, and on the assessment of research methodology and implications for internal and external validity of the findings. The goal is to enable graduating residents to better understand published literature in the field as they enter careers in psychiatry. Occurs weekly year-round. Required for PGY-IV residents and PGY-V Fellows as part of Mood Disorders Clinic Rotation.
