College to Career (C2C) at College of Alameda is a three - year program designed to improve employment outcomes for students with intellectual disability (ID) and to expand the range of jobs available to them. C2C program offerings include on-campus instruction, support from educational coaches, off-campus internships related to students’ employment goals, and job placement with follow-up, as needed. Program focus areas are: employment, self-determination, and college course access. Students participate in campus activities to improve social and communication skills required for success in getting and retaining a job.
Students with ID take the following types of courses:

Orientation to college
Social skills training
Job Search Strategies
There are no housing options for any students at the college.
Students will complete the program after three years of academic and vocational training, and work experiences.
