Study Detail

This 7 month study examines the effects of Rispiridone on repetitive behaviors.

Target audience: 

Children are eligible to participate if they:

  • Are between 8-16
  • Have symptoms of autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Have high levels of repetitive behaviors
Benefits: 

Participants will receive:

  • Rispiridone or placebo (inactive medication)
  • Questionnaires, interviews, psychological and laboratory testing
  • MRI (brain scan)
