Chronic Tic Disorders and Tourette's

Study Detail

UCLA Research Opportunity for Children with chronic tics or Tourette's Syndrome. Study involves

  • 2-3 visits
  • Medical and psychological evaluations
  • Brain scan (MRI)
Target audience: 

Children 9-14 years old

Benefits: 

Participants may be eligible for additional non-medication treatment studies

Pre-conditions: 

 

Child 9 - 14 who can’t control movements such as:

  • Eye blinking
  • Facial grimaces
  • Arm or leg twitches

Dose he or she make sounds such as:

  • Throat clearing
  • Sniffling Grunting
