Therese Verner's concern for the effects of climate change also Inspired Fire and Ice, Escaping Climate Change. The melting glacier in the upper left side is crashing into the sea. The sea creature is trying to escape the effects of the melting glaciers, but is it possible?

My painting style is abstract expressionistic. II used a large palette knife to create movement in the waves, and the sea creature. The glacier was created by moving the knife quickly, just above the surface of the painting, to create texture effects. As in Save the Planet, the sky is fiery, evoking the dramatic contrast between melting glaciers and wildfires.
