Senior Scholars Program at Longevity Center

Senior Scholars is a unique campus-wide program in which persons 50 years and older can audit regular-session undergraduate courses.

Choose from hundreds of classes each quarter.  Learn from UCLA's most distinguished professors while enjoying an intergenerational experience with bright undergraduate students.  Relax and learn is our policy.  No need for time consuming papers, reports, prerequisites or exams.   Take advantage of available UCLA library and bookstore resources to continue your life-long learning process.  Some restrictions apply: language, laboratory, studio art and other classes that require daily grading and/or daily professor-student interaction cannot accept auditors.

How do I participate in the Senior Scholar Program?

Please read our brochure, e-mail srscholars@mednet.ucla.edu or call (310) 794-0679 for more information.  Registration is available over the phone, by fax, or by mail.  Quarterly course fees of $150 for the first class and $100 for each additional class.   Course acceptance is contingent upon space available and instructor agreement via the Longevity Center.
