Interventions for Individuals with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome: Transitioning Science to Community Projects

Intervention studies are being conducted to promote self-regulation in infants and toddlers with prenatal alcohol exposure (PAE); improve social functioning for children with PAE using a parent-assisted social skills intervention; increase access to services and early intervention for young children with PAE and their families; and reduce alcohol consumption in youth with PAE in order to prevent secondary disabilities and negative behavioral outcomes.
