Nathanson Family Resource Center

The Nathanson Family Resource Center provides a comfortable and welcoming environment for support of families and their significant others who are dealing with mental illness. The Center fulfills this vision by:

• Coordinating all family programs offered by the UCLA Semel Institute and Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital
• Facilitating UCLA Resnick Hospital patient care through family education and support
• Organizing public lectures on issues of interest to families dealing with mental illness
• Fostering the development of new community resources for families dealing with mental illness
• Gathering and making available information on existing community services and resources for families dealing with mental illness
