Treatment Planning Meetings - Section 1.

Overview

The course focuses on treatment and management problems posed by inpatient psychiatry. Clinical psychopathology, treatment plans and interdisciplinary skills are discussed. The emphasis is on formulating accurate diagnostic assessments and planning effective treatment programs utilizing the therapeutic methods of the milieu (somatic therapies, behavioral techniques, family therapy, group process, individual and dyadic treatment, etc.) Section 1. - (1 unit) Offered continuously throughout the year, Mondays, 9-10 a.m. and as needed, Semel Institute and Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital. Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
