Psychiatry Goes to the Movies

Overview

Contemporary, classical and foreign movies are screened twice a month. Following each movie, its underlying psychodynamic principles, and how the film conveys them, are discussed. The historic and social context of the movie will also be addressed. Offered continuously throughout the year, the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, 5-9 p.m., 2-South, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
