Leadership I

(Open to NPH nursing staff only). This is a four-hour introduction on nursing leadership. The content will include a discussion on the following: leadership styles, team leading, role of the team leader with an emphasis on decision-making, problem-solving, conflict resolution, time management, and decision making. Both theoretical concepts and practical application will be explored. Through lectures, case studies, and discussion, the participants identify skills in the areas of leadership and shift coordination.
