Integrated Treatment Planning in Public Mental Health

Overview

This course will review appropriate differential diagnostic considerations for adult outpatient intakes, appropriate treatment planning using the Biopsychosocial Model, strategies for effective management of patient caseload, learning how to operate and deliver quality ambulatory care within the context of a multidisciplinary team approach, basic interpersonal and management skills necessary for psychiatric team leadership, documentation, and mental health care delivery in the era of Managed Care. Offered continuously throughout the year, 1-South Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
