Group Dynamics

This course will serve as an introduction to basic concepts and clinical approaches to group experiences in the practice of psychiatry. Through the use of clinical case studies, as well as your current NPI ward, C-L and process group experiences, the dynamics of groups will be presented and explored. Applications of these concepts will be made to the clinical settings of inpatient and consultation-liaison psychiatry, and the exercise of leadership in clinical psychiatric team settings.
