Functional Magnetic Resonace Imaging and Consciousness Journal Club

Overview

Opportunity for students to gain better appreciation of experimental neuroimaging methods and challenges in experimentation of higher and abstract cognitive processes. Readings of journal articles (selected by students and instructor) addressing topics of functional magnetic resonance imaging and experimental studies of consciousness. Preparation of summaries, discussion of selected manuscripts, and performance of adequate background research to clarify material.  Three hour seminar and three hour discussion.  S/U grading.
