Dual Diagnosis Teaching Rounds

Overview

This is a daily teaching round and lecture series that focuses on the treatment of co-morbid psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. Treatment strategy for patients in the Dual Diagnosis Treatment program will be discussed. Specific topics including dual diagnosis, substance abuse disorders, drug withdrawal syndrome, as well as pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment to these disorders will be discussed. Offered continuously throughout the year, Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m., Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
