Cultural Neuropsychology Seminar

Overview

This seminar will serve as an introduction to the relevant theory and experimental literature related to the interface of culture and neurocognition.  Topics will include:  historical antecedents, ethics, bilingualism, acculturation, ethnopsychopharmacology, demographically adjusted norms, translation/interpretation of tests, and cultural neuroscience.

Objectives: 
Expose trainees to trends in research with historically underrepresented populations
Expose trainees to best practice clinical guidelines currently emerging in discipline of cultural neuropsychology
