This course provides CBT-specific supervision training to supervisors of CBT practitioners, with the goal of maintaining quality and effectiveness in psychotherapy practice. The course aims to redress a gap in the continuing professional development training of CBT supervisors. The philosophy underlying this course is that of peer teaching and learning. The types of learning methods used will include lectures/presentations and discussions, literature reviews, self-reflective learning, group reflective learning and experiential group learning. Course is offered every other Monday, year-round, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, D2 Conference Room. Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
