This practicum is structured as a half day clinic in which advanced trainees in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry gain expertise in the comprehensive psychopharmacological management of pediatric populations. Participants will have exposure to a variety of child psychiatric disorders and psychotropic medications. Participants will further act as consultants to non-M.D. and primary care providers. Some emphasis will be given to the provision of care in managed care settings. The course is taught in conjunction with the Advanced Seminar in Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology (Psychiatry 261). Offered Wednesdays.
