The goal of the program is to teach an integrated cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and Pharmacotherapy treatment approach for Anxiety Disorders. This is best done with joint supervision of the trainees by a CBT-expert psychologist and a medication-expert psychiatrist. Having two supervisors of different background gives a broader view of the treatment and teaches residents to work with psychologists, which they will do frequently in their real-life clinical practices. Offered continuously throughout the year, Wednesdays 8-12 noon, 300 Medical Plaza, Room 1208. Prerequisites: consent of instructor.
