This is the UCLA/San Fernando Valley Program's PGY-IV psychopharmacology course. Basic and clinical psychopharmacology proficiency is assumed. Lectures cover innovative ideas in basic and clinical science related to psychopharmacology, including neurobiological models of major psychiatric disorders, psychopharmcology in symptom spectra cutting across diagnostic boundaries, and psychopharmacology in special populations. Required for PGY-IV residents, Wednesdays, 3:15-4:30 p.m., February - June.
