Advanced Family Therapy: Applying Family Systems Theory to Families with Troubled Adolescents and Children

Overview

Course will focus on the development of skills in the assessment of family pathology, engagement with resistant families and various family therapy approaches to fit certain cases. Participants will become familiar with several family therapy theories and will gain knowledge and experience in applying them to clinical situations. Offered continuously throughout the year. Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
