Adult Psychiatry Individual Supervision

Overview

This course is designed to increase the psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacological skills of the PGY2, PGY3, and PGY4 residents rotating in the adult outpatient clinic at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. This supervision will address the core competencies of professionalism, systems-based practice, and practice-based learning, as well as interpersonal relationships and communication skills within the primary area of patient care. Offered year-round on a weekly basis as scheduled by participants, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
