The Program

The purpose of the Clubhouse is to provide a fun atmosphere to facilitate appropriate social behavior in a structured environment, as well as in the community. 

Therapeutic goals include:

• Developing and expanding peer awareness
• Developing and enhancing peer-related interactions
• Increasing parallel, associative and/or cooperative play (e.g. turn-taking, sharing of attention and materials)
• Increasing self esteem
• Increasing exposure to developmentally appropriate leisure and play interests
• Increasing competency in gross and fine motor play activities
