Brain Changes in MS May Spur Depression

A study by Dr. Nancy Sicotte, associate professor of neurology, was featured July 2 by the Times of India and July 5 by United Press International. Her research linked depression in people battling multiple sclerosis with atrophy of a specific region of the hippocampus, a critical part of the brain involved in mood and memory.
